Bravo to host charity ‘47’ event again
After a successful first year, this sophomore edition of the star-studded event has drawn even more attention, with some of the world’s best cricketers set to attend.
Regional T20 stars Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Darren Sammy and Sulieman Benn, as well as members of the visiting Indian Test team will come together at Estate 101 in Maraval for what promises to be another festive year, from sunset to midnight.
But ‘47’ is more than just entertainment.
Partnering with longtime sponsor, bmobile and the blink|bmobile Foundation, this year’s proceeds will go to the Book Buddy Project, in which much needed back-to-school supplies are given to children and to the Blind Cricket Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
Bravo said, “I am really excited about ‘47’ and even more excited that my friends, teammates and fellow athletes are able to join us this year.
It’s great to come together to party but even better when it’s for a good cause.
I’m especially excited to host my friends from India. I consider India my second home and look forward to showing them the hospitality that Trinidad and Tobago has to offer.
It’s going to be another great year and I encourage people to come out and support.
The more that attend, the more we can give to two great causes.” Priced at $547, tickets can be bought at All Out at the Queen’s Park Oval, Caribbean Jewellers in Trincity Mall and from committee members listed on Bravo’s social media accounts.
