Lackville falls short in Norman’s Cricket

Gadjadhar snatched three wickets for four runs but Furniture Boys still posted a competitive 86 for six batting first.

Frankie Ragoonath was also instrumental with the ball snatching 2/10, but contributions from Kevin Padilla (16), Jeremiah Kumar (16) and Kenneth Mohammed (13) guided Furniture Boys to the solid total. Chasing 87 for victory, Lackville was restricted to 40/8 with Adesh Mungroo scoring 11.

In another contest, Spartans held on for a narrow one-wicket win over Suicidal Crew. Spartans got to 61/6 with Shivanand Maraj scoring 10 and Prakash Dookran taking 2/10 for Suicidal Crew. In reply Suicidal Crew was restricted to 60/7 in their 12 overs as Spartans escaped with the victory. Nicholas Ramjit snatched 3/9, while Dookran top scored with 19 for Suicidal Crew.

Gabba Youths also pulled off a win getting past Cricket Addicks by 24 runs.
