Missing Tobago fisherman found in Grenada

Reports are that Richardson went out to fish at Plymouth Bay at about 6am. Other fishermen reported that they had seen his vessel, Stamina, off Buccoo at about 4 pm on Sunday but by 6pm when he didn’t return to shore, a report was made.

Police and Coast Guard authorities were alerted and the Air Guard went in search of him.

Those searches proved futile.

However, on Tuesday evening, fellow fisherman, George Alexander, shared the good news.

“My nephew Joel Alexander communicated with me and told me that they found him. Just around 5pm, my nephew called and said that one of the boats that went out on the search got him and he was safe.” Alexander explained that based upon information received, Richardson ran out of fuel.
