Jackpot now $11 million

THE LOTTO Plus Jackpot continues to roll, with Saturday’s jackpot estimated at $11 million. No one won Wednesday night’s jackpot of $10 million. The numbers drawn were 9, 12, 15, 20, 25 and the powerball number 3. While no one won the big prize, one person matched five numbers without the powerball to win $80,826.48. The five out of five jackpot without the powerball is now an estimated $10,000. Other winners included 37 players who matched four numbers and the powerball to each win $842.49, while 339 players matched four number to each win $178.16.

An additional 1,075 players matched three numbers and the powerball to win $18.12 and 9,179 players won two free Quick Picks for matching three numbers. Lotto fever is expected to be heightened today, particularly following yesterday’s public holiday when there were no games. The lines to various Lotto ticket outlets are expected to be extremely long, as persons rush to get a chance of cashing in on the $11 million. Many persons have expressed hope that the jackpot will not be won by one person, but by several persons so the wealth could be shared.
