UTT maintain lead in Championship Division

Central 500 Spartans moved up two places to third on the standings after a 2-0 victory over Petit Valley/Diego Martin FC at the Diego Martin North Secondary School. Donavon Derrick (21st) and Calvi Grazette (78th) were the goal-getters for Central 500 Spartans.

Saddle Hill Hotspur got a late winner from ex-TT striker Stern John as they overcame Cunupia FC 3-2 at the Pascal Recreation Ground in Maraval.

Dinell Lopez (15th) put Cunupia ahead but Saddle Hill replied with goals from Sean Ramdoo (29th) and Cyrano Glen (50th).

Dellon Jaggasar (63rd) evened the scores at 2-2 and the game seemed destined for a draw before John got the game-clincher, in the 87th.
