Coroner’s inquest to be conducted into garbage man’s death

Police said the driver of the vehicle was questioned on the circumstances surrounding Warner’s death but no charges have been laid.

The inquest will determine if there was any negligence on the part of the driver.

Reports are that Warner was operating a garbage truck, owned by M&S Enterprises, at the Beetham Landfill at about 6 a.m. on Tuesday, when he was killed.

Warner was described by relatives as a humble, church-going man who usually kept to himself.
