‘Digicel Rising Star’ auditions

Auditions for the Digicel Rising Star will be held today and tomorrow at Harris Promenade, San Fernando and Fiesta Plaza, MovieTowne in Port-of-Spain respectively.

Both auditions will take place between 9 am and 2 pm each day. Digicel customers can also submit their auditions via phone by calling 2462. Calls cost $1 per minute.

Some $500,000 in cash is up for grabs in this year’s competition.

Winners will also receive other prizes inclusive of handsets from Huawei, Digicel Play and other Digicel mobile services.

The judges are popular soca songstress and songwriter Nadia Batson; singer, songwriter and musician, Nigel Rojas; and past Digicel Rising Star and entertainer Neval Chatelal.
