Suriname, Cuba earn narrow wins in Group B

Suriname registered a 2-0 triumph over Guadeloupe, with Archero Heover scoring twice, in the 21st and 52nd minutes.

And, in the latter contest, Cuba pipped Curacao 2-1. Yandri Romero put Cuba in front after 37 minutes but Shurendric Fransinet equalised in the 57th. However, Ribaldo Roldan ensured that Cuba walked away with full points when he notched the winner in the 78th. Today’s Group B action will continue at the Mucurapo venue with Guadeloupe opposing Cuba at 5 pm while Suriname will battle Curacao at 7.30 pm.
