Comatose Walcott taken home by parents

While she is still in a comatose state, she was discharged by her doctors and will continue receiving private nursing and home care. The journey has been a long and arduous one for the Walcott family. Her parents have remained strong in their faith and have expressed their sincerest gratitude to the hundreds of individuals who offered prayers and comfort during this very difficult time.

They are also eternally grateful to the Government, corporate entities, friends, family and many caring citizens, who provided financial assistance for Della-Marie’s medical expenses, as well as the staff at both the St Clair Medical Centre and Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. Her parents indicated that the tremendous support of family and close friends during this time greatly helped in strengthening their faith, as they continue to pray for Della-Marie’s recovery. They have requested that she be remembered by all well-wishers in their prayers.
