Man missing since August 27

The missing man’s father, Aurelius Logan, told Newsday yesterday he is fearing the worst “because somebody might have had it out for him. Nobody is telling me anything.” According to the senior Logan, his son left home between 6.30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in a car. He said his son told him, “Daddy, I am going out with the boys. Ah coming back just now.” Since then, he has not seen or heard from.

He said he did not bother to call his son that night when he did not come home because “these youths like to lime.” After he had no telephone call from Joel the next day, Logan senior said he called his son’s cell phone several times until “running out of credit.” He started sending call requests for his son to return the calls, but to no avail.

Joel’s five brothers and relatives now began searching for the missing man. A missing person’s report was then made to the Arouca Police Station.

The father fears someone might have harmed his son because he has two matters in the court.

The first is for resisting arrest, for which he is due to appear in court on October 25. The second matter, for which he is due to appear on October 28, is for wounding with intent.
