CAL cancels Jamaica flights

CAL cancelled three flights yesterday.

Cancelled are BW 016 that was due to depart John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK), New York, for Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston; BW 010 from JFK to Montego Bay; BW 031 from NMIA to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, Florida; BW 414 from NMIA to Nassau, Bahamas, and BW 415 from Nassau to NMIA.

The flights cancelled yesterday were BW 036 from Fort Lauderdale to NMIA, BW 011 from Montego Bay to JFK, and BW 017 from NMIA to JFK.

A release from CAL said the airline has activated its call-out plan to contact customers travelling on these services.

Customers are advised to keep checking flight information on the website www.caribbean-airlines.

com or to contact CAL call centres in the US and Canada, 1-800-920-4225; Jamaica (international), 1-800-523-5585; Jamaica (local calls), 1-888-359- 2475; Nassau (local calls), 1-242- 377-3300; and TT, 1-868-625- 7200.

CAL said “the circumstances leading to the flight disruptions are completely outside of the control of the airline.”
