National Parang Assn rebrands, changes logo
“Our association embarked on a process of rebranding as part of a renewal journey.
NPATT must adapt and we must equip our organisation to meet the challenges faced by our member bands, the expectation of our patrons, and the requirements of other stakeholders.
The strategic pillars and watchwords of this embarking are, ‘rebrand’, ‘rebuild’ and ‘reconnect’,” stated the release signed by NPATT Secretary Ruth Li.
The release added that all things NPATT must be associated with a high standard and excellence in all that members do. “NPATT must be proudly recognised as the governing body for Parang in Trinidad and Tobago and Internationally. In terms of rebuilding, NPATT must develop sustainable internal systems that meet the requirements of a modern arts administration organization. With regard to reconnecting, the release stated, NPATT must reconnect by reaching out to all member bands of old and embrace those of new who are willing to join in.
NPATT must reconnect with entities that are desirous of collaborating with the association in order to preserve, promote and develop “our treasured artform.” NPATT must reconnect with our patrons in order for Parang to remain vibrant.
In light of this, NPATT has announced the launch of its new logo with immediate effect. “Additionally, we have established an online presence via social media and the association’s website which is: www.npatt.com . “You can also follow NPATT on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook using npatt_official. We need your support and invite all to join with the National Parang Association of Trinidad and Tobago this year and beyond to push our beloved artform to the space it belongs.
