Headline News back on track November 5

The chestnut son of Silver Train/Igotaspellonyou won four starts in 2014 before suffering a major injury which has kept him off the track all of last year.

Previously saddled by champion trainer John O’Brien who is under suspension, nomination fees were paid for Headline News to return in the Caribbean Sprint Championship over 1200 metres at Santa Rosa Park, Arima.

And he will face this year’s Derby winner Academy Award and pre-race favourite Crown The King among 18 horses for which second nomination fees were paid.

Connections of Hail The Chief, Star Sapphire and Blue Tequela have [aid a penal;ty fee of $800 each to be included in the field.

A third bomination fee of $200 becomes due and payable on Wednesday.
