Kaiso back in D Nu Pub

The celebration was also part of the activities for Calypso History Month (October) 2016.

While there was an excellent show on stage calypsonians were seen celebrating throughout the night greeting and engaging each other in “ole talk”.

Patrons heard songs by Kid Kalalloo, Eunice Peters, Bally, Ninja, Johnny King, Baron, Carlton Lousion and Sharon Fraser.

The atmosphere at the pub was enjoyable as folks like All Rounder, Contender, Explainer, Brother Resistance, president of Tuco, Karega Mandela and his wife Carol, Bingo, Dr Will B, Llylo, Gary Cordner, Susan Maynard, Shurlaine Hendrickson, Mr Chucky, ibn Llama de Leon, Joseph Adams and Twiggy and her husband Oba enjoyed themselves.

Songs like “Party Time” and “Lucifer” by Bally, “Nature’s Plan” and “Darling” by Johnny King and “Sweet Soca Man”, “Spanish Woman” and “Say Say” by Baron had members of the audience singing and dancing.

The action continues next Wednesday at D Nu Pub when Tuco’s North Zone will hold “Humour at its best with 1.2.3.” featuring Humour Monarch Ebony, second runner up Crazy, Funny, Trinidad Rio, Typher, Mr Nature and Mechanic.

As usual music will be supplied by Len Cummings and the Wailers.
