Still in search of Petrotrin suicide victim

According to reports, on Saturday, a mentally ill Pierre climbed the 120 foot oil tank and threatened to jump. But despite the many hours spent by Petrotrin’s counsellors, family and friends to dissuade Pierre from taking his llife, he refused to climb down. He then disappeared from sight forcing many to believe he had entered the tank and drowned.

However one person speaking to Newsday said he felt that Pierre may have accidentally slipped and fell into the tank.

He told Newsday, “He was tired, his hands and feet had already gotten oil and for the time he was up there and so when he tried to hide from the police he may have slipped and fell in.” Reports stated that Pierre had successfully gained access to the properly secured Tank Farm area and climbed unto one of the their oil storage tanks and threatened suicide.

At about 8 pm, it was reported that all efforts to persuade him to climb down to safety failed. Yesterday, in a similar press release, Petrotrin said the company was continuing their recovery efforts in its Tank Farm Operations following Pierre’s disappearance.
