Sacred Heart to reopen next Monday

Sanitisation was carried out at the school yesterday, while clean up of the facility would be done today. Despite former reports, a source said that the school would be reopened on Monday, and not today. Parents have been informed about the circumstances.

When contacted yesterday, Education Minister Anthony Garcia said he had hoped that the sanitisation of the premises would have been completed yesterday.

“I was hoping that it would have been completed for school for tomorrow, but most likely it would be on Monday,” he confirmed.

The minister said there were certain protocols that had to be observed where a child had to stay away from school until he/she had the clearance from a doctor.
