Top cop’s son pleads guilty to DUI

Dulalchan was arrested on Saturday while driving near Pierre Road, Caroni. Attorney Shiva Boodoo, who represented the accused, said his client was a father of one and worked as an engineer at Yara Trinidad Ltd. Dulalchan resides in Felicity, Chaguanas.

The attorney also requested time to obtain documents relating to the case before presenting his plea in mitigation.

Dougbeen-Bally agreed to the request and also heard that Dulalchan had no previous convictions. Dulalchan was granted his own bail in the sum of $15,000. The case was adjourned to November 30.
