Eleven arrested in anti-crime exercise

According to reports, officers cordorned off several areas in the city and detained the persons who were wanted for several robberies, outstanding warrants, and other serious crimes.

A search was carried out for the sale of illicit alcohol and drugs.

Several apartments in the plannings in east Port-of-Spain were also searched during the exercise. Officers focussed on searching for illicit arms and ammunition.
