South man jailed for cocaine
MOSES JUGGON, 41, of Cipero Road, St John’s Village in San Fernando, who boasted a criminal record, including illegal drugs and larceny convictions, was yesterday charged for possession of cocaine. The accused pleaded guilty to the charge and then begged the magistrate for leniency saying, “I am very sorry, Sir. I would never do it again.” The court heard that around 8.30 pm last Friday, PC Chakrasekhar Ramcharan held the accused on Cipero Road in San Fernando with a quantity of cocaine and a device used to snort the substance. Juggon was sentenced to six months imprisonment on each count and was ordered to serve the sentences consecutively.
