Emery, a former student of the Diego Martin Junior Secondary School, was represented by attorney Andrew Casimire, who told the magistrate he was ready to proceed with the preliminary inquiry. acting police prosecutor Insp Jules George had no objections and said the State would be ready in two weeks. Mc Nicolls told George to disclose all relevant documents to the defence before the start of the inquiry. Emery was remanded at the Youth Training Centre and will reappear in court on January 5, 2005.
