Granny, 72, on gun charge

They executed a search warrant and during a search, found the pistol in the living room.

The woman was arrested and taken to La Horquetta police station where she was interviewed.

Police later issued an arrest warrant for the woman’s 42-yearold son who up to press time could not be located.

The woman was processed and charged on the weekend. She appeared yesterday before Magistrate Gillian Scotland and was granted $10,000 bail.

The accused was ordered to return to court on June 2.
