Teen confesses to illegal relationship

The teenager reportedly confessed to her mother on Wednesday that she had been involved with the 21-year-old man and had been having sex with him.

The teenager went to the police station accompanied by her daughter at about 3.25 pm and reported the matter.

Officers of the Child Protection Unit were alerted and took a statement from the teenager.

She was also taken to a doctor who examined the teen and confirmed she was sexually active.

A warrant has since been issued for the arrest of the suspect.
