Record entrants for Chief Secretary Golf

This event, which will be under the patronage of the Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Asssembly, Kelvin Charles, will be hosted by Jeffrey Azar and Randall Rostant, directors of Junior Investments.

According to a media release, this competition usually takes place on the Father’s Day weekend. This year, action will get going on Friday with the Bmobile Classic followed by the Chief Secretary Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

Players from the twin-island republic, as well as a few of the Caribbean islands, will be involved in the Charity Golf, while a number of prizes are at stake, including a BMW X3 for a hole-in-one on the 14th hole.

There will also be a Junior Division, sponsored by MI4 Security Services Limited, as well as a Professional Golfers Division.

Both groups will participate at the Mount Irvine Course.

“The Tournament is part-sponsored by the Tobago House of Assembly and a number of business in Trinidad and Tobago,” the media release stated.

“All profits from the tournament goes to various charities (in) Tobago.”
