Bank manager’s SUV recovered
The vehicle was found at Ridgevale Terrace in Diego Martin shortly before midday yesterday.
Police sources revealed that the three pairs of women working shoes, a laptop and a high-end Coach handbag belonging to Duke-Westfield, with all her documents excluding cash, were found in the vehicle.
The vehicle was stolen from Duke-Westfield at gunpoint on Thursday afternoon and the victim took to facebook to vent her anger over the robbery. A resident of Ridgevale who saw the vehicle parked on the roadway, contacted the Four Roads Police.
Duke-Westfield was contacted and expressed relief on learning that the vehicle and other personal items were recovered. Her husband Julien went to Ridgevale, took possession of the SUV and drove it to the Four Roads police station where it was dusted for fingerprints.
Duke-Westfield later thanked the police for working around the clock to locate the vehicle and also thanked the person who reported seeing the SUV abandoned in Ridgevale.
No arrest has been made.
