Toco marijuana-planter murdered

A Toco marijuana-planter became this nation’s tenth murder victim for 2005. Leslie Stanisclause, 32, alias “Falco” of Toco Main Road, Toco was found dead with stab wounds to his chest in a drain at Wheeler Street, Cumana around 8 am yesterday morning. According to reports, around 11 pm on Monday, Falco stormed the home of a man at Trace Road, Cumana with whom he had a long standing feud over a gun. Falco fired two shots which missed its target.

A scuffle ensued between the two, during which the man grabbed a knife and stabbed Falco.The bleeding Falco who was wearing a mask and camouflage clothing dropped the gun and ran from the house. The man in the meanwhile retrieved the gun and mask, and took it to the police station where a report was made. Falco was found dead in a drain at Wheeler Street, Cumana Village early yesterday morning by a villager. A 27-year-old man is currently assisting police with their investigations. Sgt Wight is continuing enquiries.
