Thank you Mayaro Regional Corp

THE EDITOR: On behalf of the Seeraj family, we would like to say “Thank you” to the Mayaro Regional Corporation for their kind gesture in awarding Andy with such a beautiful yet touching plaque on his dedicated service as a lifeguard. Andy was a lifeguard for four and a half years. But his term was shortened when he was knocked down by a speeding boat on August 3, 2003. With all the crime that is going on in this country, we not only think about the bad times, but also the good times we share with our loved ones.

It was so nice to know that people out there took the time to remember Andy, even though his service was short. By receiving that award it made us feel alive to know that he did good. Although he may be gone, he is not forgotten. He remains our hero. It’s just another token to add on our memory list, for memories last a lifetime. On Christmas Day he would have celebrated is 34th birthday. To the members of the MRCRC, keep up the good work and may God keep and bless you all for the New Year. I know Andy is looking down on you all, smiling as always.
