TSTT sponsoring fetes but no technicians

THE EDITOR: Since mid-December my residential phone line has not been working. I made a report and TSTT said within five working days they would send a technician to find out what the problem is. It is now one month and to date no one has come to my house. At one point a service representative told me that the technician has our file in his hand right now and to expect him anytime soon. We gave him until 11.59 pm that night but he never showed. The problem I was later told is that the company does not have sufficient technicians. How can you have a shortage of technicians and be sponsoring every fete you see come across the TV? TSTT needs to prioritise. Train more workers and stop sponsoring fetes.
