TT hockey men drubbed 5-0

SANTIAGO DE LAS VEGAS: Trinidad and Tobago suffered the same fate as their English-speaking Caribbean counterparts the previous day, when Chile rolled over them 5-0 on the second day of the Pan American Junior Hockey Championship yesterday.

On Wednesday, Jamaica had suffered a 15-1 defeat to Argentina, and Barbados were put down by the United States 5-1, and the trend of heavy defeats continued when TT took to the turf for their match at the Antonio Maceo Stadium. Chile controlled the pace of the game in the first half and raided the TT circle on several occasions. TT next face Puerto Rico today.
