Make use of your platform

THE EDITOR: I would like to raise an issue of concern via your newspaper. An issue that is of concern to supporters of the Opposition. We rely on men/women who demonstrate a genuine concern for us and they must reflect this. What comes to mind immediately is the fly-by-night politician who wants to soar into the limelight, using the position for his/her own visibility and personal grandeur such as an individual exists in the ranks of the Opposition but, he has little else to contribute to our welfare except that he has financial strength. The time for “gallerying” has gone and supporters are wise, mature thinking people and need to exert the right, that people of commitment retain control of our Opposition. I continue to watch the situation closely.
