North Zone Division II batsmen slam centuries

TWO Essex batsmen competing in the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board North Zone (Div II) competition, slammed centuries last week in separate games at the Queen’s Park Savannah. In one game, Dean Charles scored 135 in the game against St Mary’s College while in another game for Essex, Frank Hiblal struck 105 against Carenage United. The game against St Mary’s was drawn while in the game against Carenage United, Essex amassed a huge 385 for six declared. Carenage were then bowled out for 105 and were made to follow on and at sumps on the second day, were batting at 225 for seven. The final day of this match, will be played this weekend.
