Beenhakker calls 25 ‘Warriors’
NATIONAL coach Leo Beenhakker will have 25 players at his disposal, including four members of the Under-20 squad, for his first training session at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo tomorrow morning. The Under-20s are captain Radanfah Abu Bakr, fellow defender Karlon Murray, goalkeeper Thorne Holder and playmaker Keon Daniel. Also earning a call-up are temperamental midfielders Otis Seaton (Aurtis Whitley) and Arnold Dwarika, as well as striker Gary Glasgow who, like Dwarika, is out of a contract after playing in China last year.
Beenhakker, who returned to Trinidad on Friday along with his assistants Theo De Jonk and Whim Rhizerburg, will conduct the session with the players selected on the advice of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) Technical Advisory Committee and technical director Lincoln ‘‘Tiger’’ Phillips. Following the session, the players will be involved in a three-day camp at the Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Tunapuna.
