Barrackpore win PowerGen U-14 cricket title

Coached by Shal Ramkissoon, Barrackpore captured the Championship Division national league crown when they edged out Princes Town Senior Comprehe-nsive in the grand final at the PowerGen Penal Sports ground last month.

And then their youngsters proved that they have the talented nursery to fill the breach when their seniors move on. National under 15 opener Marlon Brisceno led the way for Barrackpore with a polished 45 as his team mustered 106.
