T&T Elite upset Shak Attack in Big 4

T&T ELITE pulled off the biggest upset of the season in the semi-final Big Four Play-offs at the Supligen North Zone Basketball League at the Jean Pierre Sports Complex when they defeated league winners Detour Shak Attack 78-69 to level their best-of-three series.

Shak Attack went into Tuesday night’s game seeking to eliminate Elite after winning Game One.

But their over-confidence worked against them and instead, T&T Elite outscored Shak Attack 28-16 in the final quarter to force a third and final game on Sunday.

The winners of this match will play defending champions Defence Force, who eliminated National Flour Mills earlier this week.

Defending women champions Courts Horizons have earn themselves the right to defend their title again.

They trounced the NFM women 64-48 in a semi-final match in the opening encounter on Tuesday night.
