Naps, St Benedict’s in 0-0 draw
DEFENDING SOUTH Zonal champions Naparima were held to a goalless draw by St Benedict’s as the British Gas Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) continued at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella yesterday. But no score was available, up to press time, in the other match of the double-header between Vessigny and Fyzabad. South Zone action continues today with Mayaro hosting Princes Town at the Mayaro Recreation Ground while, in the lone North Zone fixture, Fatima will welcome Tranquillity to the Fatima College Ground. And a full slate of matches is in store in the East Zone, with the "Blue Thunder" El Dorado facing "Dial Dynamos" Arima at El Dorado, the "Green Machine" St Augustine opposing Hillview at St Augustine while Malabar will make their debut when they battle San Juan at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima. Today’s matches will kick off at 4 pm.
