Newsday race to help street children

NEWSDAY, the People’s Newspaper continues its drive to assist the needy children on the streets of Trinidad and Tobago with the staging of a 5k Fun Run and Walk which is carded for  September 24 at King George V Park, St Clair. The race begins at 3 pm and will have a number of prizes and medals at stake for the participants.

The event begins at King George V Park, and will proceed through the streets of Maraval and Long Circular, before finishing at the Park. The event will consist individual and team entrants, which will consist 10 people a team. A registration fee of $25 will be charged and all the proceeds will go towards the Street Children Fund. Company cheques should also be made payable to the Newsday Save The Children Fund.
