Bodnarve top Diamond football

Thursday’s victory followed another 2-1 triumph over Hermitage at Diamond Ground one week ago, to give the Bodnarve men their fourth win in four outings.

But Golconda missed a chance to go top of the table when they were beaten 2-1 by F&E Diamond at Diamond Ground also on Thursday.

F&E Diamond moved into third position by way of their victory on nine points, two behind Golconda and three adrift of leaders Bodnarve.

Gorilla United won their first match in two starts when they drubbed Ramsubag 6-0 on Wednesday at Lower Barrackpore Ground.

And Debe United whipped Hermitage 4-2 at Diamond Ground also on Wednesday.
