Memorial match for Shannon Paul

Paul, son of former national boxing champion Mike Paul died over a year ago after losing a long battle with cancer which curtailed his short promising football career.

The striker represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Under-13 level and was looked upon as a future star on the national senior team.

The memorial match will be between Maraval FC and P&D Coaching School.

Invited to kick the match off is John Antoine, who made his name as an outstanding administrator in both tennis and basketball. Antoine also has received a national award for his contribution to sports.
