TT/Bahrain match on City Hall big screen

MEMBERS of the public have been invited to watch today’s Trinidad and Tobago versus Bahrain encounter in Manama on a large screen at the City Hall Auditorium.

The invitation is being organized by the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) and the Port of Spain City Corporation.

In a release yesterday stated that doors for the City Hall venue will be opened at 11.30am for the match which will kick off at 12.00 noon.

The game will determine whether this country will secure a place in next year’s Germany World Cup. It will also be the second match of the two match play-off in which the Trinidad and Tobago’s Warriors drew 1-1 on Saturday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo- a match that they were hoping to get a win from.

The result means that the Warriors must score in today’s encounter, in order to either win the game 1-0, a result that will send them through to next year’s competition. A one-all draw will send the game into extra-time and penalty kicks while a 2-2 draw will also be enough to secure a berth in the World Cup finals.
