Flea market vendors plagued by thieves
Vendors at the Queen’s Park Savannah Flea Market yesterday complained that their goods were being stolen. The vendors told of having made numerous reports to the police. Some of them said that they have had to close their stalls, after losing thousands of dollars worth of goods. The Flea Market was opened December 11, and is due to close December 24. The vendors mentioned that television sets, CD players, clothing and other items have been stolen, resulting in a loss of profits, and without funds for the Christmas season. The St. Clair Police are continuing investigations.
