Lennox John back on top
KINGSTOWN: Lennox John was elected for a sixth consecutive term as president of the Windward Islands Cricket Board. John, 65, was unanimously elected by delegates from Dominica, Grenada, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines at the board’s annual general meeting. John has said this will be his last term as president. "I always wanted my final tenure at the helm of Windwards Cricket to coincide with the hosting of the Cricket World Cup in the West Indies and I am happy that my colleagues have seen me as worthy enough to re-elect me so overwhelmingly," John said on Sunday. Dominica’s Emmanuel Nanthan was elected vice president ahead of Kenny Hobson. Carl Glasgow remained secretary and his Vincentian counterpart, Rodway Fraser, stayed on as treasurer. St Vincent and the Grenadines’ Julian Jack was reappointed as chairman of selectors with Irvin Shillingford and George Alfred rejoining him on the panel. Former West Indies seamer, Ian Allen was retained as senior coach and Lockhart Sebastien as manager. The under-19 management team of Julian Charles as manager and Raymond Duncan as coach was retained. Samuel Holder remained Under-15 manager.
