Teen in court for killing sister

A 19-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with killing his sister. Sylvan Sammy, of Mon Repos, Morvant, appeared before Magistrate Sillian Harris in the Port-of-Spain Seventh Magistrates’ Court charged with the unlawful killing of his 17-year-old sister Lisa last Friday in Morvant. No evidence was taken and the case was adjourned to January 20. Lisa died at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital after she was shot at her home.
