Joy and sorrow for TT cricketers
THERE was much joy for Trinidad and Tobago bowlers in their Carib Beer Cricket Series match against the Windward Islands at Shaw Park, Tobago. But in the end on Saturday, all the home team’s joy turned to sorrow as they were left in a precarious position when the Windwards’ skipper Rawl Lewis snapped up three wickets. And yesterday, he collected two more wickets for a haul of five as Trinidad and Tobago were routed for 162 giving the islanders first innings points. At the close of play yesterday, however, Windwards held a 133-run lead and they too are on a cliff’s edge.
