Gas leak from 51-year-old La Brea well

On Tuesday March 14, Petrotrin engineers, accompanied by Ms Ria Ramoutar of the EMA, visited the well site to assess the situation.

Petrotrin has assured members of the La Brea community that the situation is under control and the company is in the process of repairing the leaking casing.

This exercise will take approximately three days to complete, Petrotrin stated in a release.
