No bail for soldier on gun charge

Private Miles Henry appeared before Magistrate Avason Quinlan in the Port-of-Spain Fourth Magistrates’ Court charged with being in possession of the gun and ammunition last Wednesday at St Paul Street, East Dry River in Port-of-Spain.

The charges were laid by PC Johnson of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF). No “tracing” (background check for criminal record) was done on Henry who was remanded into custody to re-appear on April 4.
