KC signs wage increase agreement

The increase will be — one percent each in the first and second year, and nine percent in the third year. Signing for KC Confectionery were Imran Khan, the CEO and Ashmeer Mohammed, the corporate secretary and a director, and for the Union, were Rudy Indarsingh, president, Sylvester Maharaj, secretary, John Jaglal, first vice president and Trevor Matamoro, branch president.

Since the agreement was backdated to April 28, 2004, employees will receive a back pay which will be prepared within the month.
