Children led in wrong direction

Anti-clockwise is the direction in which the walk should have proceeded, to get the full attention of the thousands of people in vehicles being driven in a clockwise direction and who were only able to see the backs of the children and the blank side of their placards, thus failing to get their message across to the passer-by.

What was the purpose of having a soca fete to end this meaningful and impressionable experience that could mould the minds of our young children to pursue good lifestyles in the future? Was the fete to erase the seriousness and the character building impression of the occasion or instead, to encourage the predominant fete mentality that takes priority over everything else in Trinidad and Tobago?
