No need for referendum
Every schoolchild knows that in western society “even in the USA”, this is a problem. There is really no need for a referendum on a known fact.
What is needed in our society is deep thinking and ideas on how we can solve our problems. Perhaps Mr Cadiz would have been of greater assistance if he had invited the public to come out of their complacency and offer suggestions and solutions.
I feel our society needs to examine its actions and to come up with deeply thought out ideas for change — not a referendum on the known facts.
