Waterloo school embraces family values
A skit depicting shaping the future — cherishing life, embracing family values, respecting one another — was put on by the fourth-formers of the school on Wednesday to highlight details of their thrust so that the public could help in determining how far they have improved in the competition.
According to the PRO, Beena Poonwassie one could only read about the negative aspects of life in the community.
“We believe that it is time to stop blaming and start doing things in a positive way,” she said.
“We must develop a shared sense of responsibility and shape a future that cherishes life, embraces family values and respect for one another,” she added.
The skit was aimed in a positive sense to remind the population of the murder of six-year-old Sean Luke, who atttended the Waterloo Hindu School.
