TT needs God

I mean, if we look around and take notice, God is not a part of the majority of Trinbagonians’ lives anymore, or their everyday vocabulary.

For most, God is their “Sugar Daddy,” only when they want something, are in need of a blessing or miracle, or when life takes that unexpected turn and they don’t know what to do or why it happened, that’s when they cry out the name of the Lord.

That’s when most people shout “Oh my God” and ask questions like “Why Lord, why? Why did this happen?”

But, what happens when things are going good? When there’s nothing to complain about?

They don’t need God! Who wants to hear about God, when there’s a great fete coming up, or when the alcohol and drugs make them feel so good that they just can’t go without having it, or when they’re so caught up in their own need for sexual satisfaction that it doesn’t matter how they go about achieving it, and don’t care that they are sleeping with someone’s husband/wife. There are also the ones who may not fall into any of these categories, but yet still, in whatever way, they don’t want to hear about God, or take Him for granted.
