Youths to launch ‘The Grand Stand’

In voicing its concern against the crime situation in the nation, YAC said its “mission is to initiate programmes designed to foster changing attitudes among citizens and secure their commitment to creating and maintaining a crime-free environment throughout the nation.”

This initiative takes the form of a series of public demonstrations of solidarity against crime. “The Grand Stand” will officially be launched on the Brian Lara Promenade and will feature a number of local celebrities sympathetic to YAC’s mission against crime and willing to take a public stand against crime. All youths and patriotic citizens are invited to attend and witness TT’s youth initiate, The Grand Stand against crime.

The programme begins at the Cipriani Roundabout, Independence Square, Port-of-Spain from 4-6 pm.
